It has been a truly outstanding year for Deradec Executive Travel and Tour Co. Ltd., a fully Ghanaian-owned company that has steadily carved a strong reputation within the travel and tourism industry. Capping off a year of consistent growth and innovation, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Diana Quarshie, has earned three major international and local awards, underscoring both her leadership and Deradec’s rising profile on the global tourism stage.

The first recognition came in September in Lagos, Nigeria, where Mrs. Quarshie was honoured with the Africa Travel 100 Women Award at the Akwaaba African Travel Market. The award celebrates women who are shaping Africa’s tourism narrative through excellence, resilience and impact.

Her global acclaim continued in London, where the International Trade Council conferred on her the title of Tourism Service Leader 2025 at the Go Global Awards. The honour places Mrs. Quarshie among a select group of industry leaders recognised for exceptional service delivery and international competitiveness.

Back home in Ghana, the accolades were capped at the Ghana Business Women Conference Awards in Accra, organised by The Business Executive, where she received the Distinguished Woman in Travel, Tourism and Global Travel Solutions Award, a recognition of her influence and leadership within Ghana’s tourism and corporate space.

Reflecting on the triple honours, Mrs. Quarshie described the awards as both humbling and motivating. “These recognitions are not just about me; they represent the hard work, dedication and passion of the entire Deradec team,” she said. “They inspire us to raise the bar even higher, deepen our global partnerships and continue showcasing Ghana as a premier travel destination.”

The trio of awards reflects the sound leadership and strategic direction at Deradec Executive Travel and Tour, with Mrs. Quarshie firmly at the helm and also signals even greater strides for the company in the years ahead.
